  &lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span class="Estilo4"&gt;                   El &lt;strong&gt;ÁRBOL &lt;/strong&gt; es una planta leñosa que se caracteriza por poseer un tallo principal erguido llamado &lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.papelnet.cl/ayuda/glosario_t.htm"&gt;&lt;span class="glosario"&gt;tronco&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;                             &lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span class="Estilo4"&gt;Cada árbol se sostiene en su tronco y termina en una copa; ésta se forma por las ramas que nacen del tronco y que se subdividen en ramas más finas, donde nacen las hojas. Cuando no existen ramas -como en el caso de las palmeras, que sólo lucen una corona de grandes hojas-, no se habla de tronco sino de &lt;/span&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.papelnet.cl/ayuda/glosario_e.htm"&gt;&lt;span class="glosario"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;estipe. &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;                             &lt;p class="Estilo4" align="justify"&gt;La altura de los árboles varía según la especie.
